Jon began his legal career in antitrust and consumer protection law in his home state of Kansas. He has helped seniors, veterans, students, and vulnerable people who fall victim to scams and predatory business practices.

Jon has a passion for helping both consumers and small businesses share common ground in the growing marketplace. He works professionally and has always been dedicated to helping people. He is a strong advocate for foster youth and empowering others to set ambitious goals and execute a plan to achieve them.

Jon and his wife Amy moved from the Midwest to the Pacific Northwest to focus on serving the community while growing a family. In his free time, Jon enjoys family time around the Olympic Peninsula. He supports the local community churches, markets, businesses, and nonprofits. He is a saxophonist and plays music with his wife, a classically-trained pianist.

Jon serves as a Judge Advocate in the United States Army Reserve with the 104th Training Division (Leader Training) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. He furthers his work in leadership, administrative law, and applying the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) to complex legal matters. Jon also volunteers with Kitsap Legal Services, providing pro bono legal representation.
